Skyskraperen – A new perspective on seasonal cuisine
Skyskraperen restaurant rests atop Bergen’s highest mountain, Ulriken, 643 meters above sea level. Here, delicious meals are enjoyed in one with nature, surrounded by majestic mountains and panoramic views of the city below. Whilst undergoing major renovation, the restaurant also received a conceptual boost, both in menu and identity. The menu and dining experience change in tune with nature’s seasons, exploring new tastes throughout the year, based on traditional dishes with a modern twist.
This became the starting point of the new concept which draws from traditions of the fashion world with presentations of the season's trends, into the gastronomic world. An exclusive and locally eccentric universe that celebrates quality and creativity.
The identity presents food for seasons as fashion houses present collections each season. New theme, new color palette, new shoot, new stories and new launches.
The identity pays tribute to raw materials and taste experiences in the same way that a designer pays tribute to quality in materials, details and fashion sensations. Each raw material takes its place and gives the palate a visual taste.
